One Small Step for UGRR History; One Giant Step for PBL–Project Based Learning & Place-Based Learning!

The process for this flyer was meanginful and fun. Though it was a little past our internal deadline, we learned a great deal from the process. For those new to the concept of Project Based Learning and wonder if there is enough “real curriculum” for students to work on and apply critical thinking skills, know that there were many conversations and drafts of this and other texts that we will use on Tuesday night. In fact, PBL publications and authentic writing projects create great envirnoments for students to work on writing and basic design skills.

We now look forward to enjoying the great mantra of PBL learning that makes presentations meaningful assessments for learning: share what you learn and show how you did it.
